Stuart Haney previously served as in-house counsel to Jack Kent Cooke and his companies including The Washington Redskins, The Chrysler Building (New York), Cooke CableVision, The Los Angeles Daily News, and Elmendorf Farm (a thoroughbred racing and breeding operation located in Lexington, Kentucky). Stuart served as Co-Executor of Jack Kent Cooke’s estate and formerly served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Salamander Farms (Middleburg, Virginia). He currently serves as Founding Board member of the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation and is a Board Member of The Gettysburg Foundation as well as The First Star Institute. He formerly served as a Chairman of The Journey Through Hallowed Ground (a National Heritage site and National Scenic Byway), and Chairman of the National History Academy. Originally from Topeka, Kansas, Stuart holds a LLM in Tax from Georgetown University, a JD from Washburn University and a BS from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration.
