Carlene Taggart Bahler
President, JT&A, Inc.
Carlene Taggart Bahler is President of JT&A, Inc. and has led programs drawing together diverse stakeholders and creating education and outreach products for more than 30 years. Carlene has led projects ranging from domestic, international, government, corporate and defense events to public outreach. Under her leadership, JT&A, Inc. developed the award-winning and patented EnviroScape® series, now in use in all 50 states and internationally. For over 20 years she has led the National Mitigation & Ecosystem Banking Conference working to ensure an independent and balanced forum annually convening more than 500 attendees at various locations within the United States. Prior to her current role, Carlene worked for the United States Foreign Agricultural Service at the Office of the United States Special Trade Representative in Geneva, Switzerland and at the Embassy in East Berlin, Germany. She also worked for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Administration at the United States Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC. Carlene was also on staff for Senator Robert Dole (Kansas). Originally from Hutchinson, Kansas, Carlene graduated cum laude and holds a BA in Marketing from Georgia State University.
